Organisation

The .Net developers are organised with 4 Scrum Masters, plus one Product Owner and one Tester per team.

The Back End Team is organised in 5 Scrum Teams and is in charge of improving the Legacy system whose development started in 2003, in ASP .Net Web Forms. Each new Business requirement is an opportunity to refactor using Micro Services on an Enterprise Bus in C# 7.0 and ASP .Net MVC 5.2.

Around 60% of this Legacy is still in Web Forms. New modules are developed in .NET Core 2.01 and ASP .Net MVC 5.2.

Working with the architecture department of Western Region, new modules or features are in development to replace the Web Forms Legacy.

On the Front End, 4 Scrum Teams are organised in France and Spain to maintain and improve 5 different Web Sites B2C & B2B.

Activities

As a .NET developer, you will work with one of our Scrum development teams within the Application Delivery department. Your tasks will include:

·  You know the ins and outs of code and application design patterns and you have a sufficient command of architecture to be able to work together with our in-house architects.

·  You are motivated to write high-quality code (readable, testable and reviewable) and to make sure it meets the coding standards imposed.

·  You provide your Scrum development team with constructive feedback on their code, and will be happy to receive feedback yourself.

·  You write tests and test the work of your colleagues.

·  You cooperate within the context of Scrum.

·  You work in English in an international context with Belgian, Dutch and Spanish colleagues

Requirements

·  You have several years experience with the agile development of REST APIs and applications.

·  You have a Back-End, Front-End, or Full Stack profile, in ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, .NET Core, C#, JavaScript and Web Forms 4.6.

·  You have experience with tools like Visual Studio 2017, Resharper, Red Gate, SSMS 2016, and Containers (Docker).

·  Your development environment will be .Net 4.6, .Net Core 2.1, ASP .Net MVC 5.2, C# 7.0, JavaScript, Kendo, CSS and Web Forms.

·  You will work with the databases SQL Server 2016, and no-sql Cassandra, Redis, SolR.

·  The TDD, DDD, BDD, IOC, CQRS and SOLID abbreviations are familiar and important to you.

·  Event Store, Repository, MVC, Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Micro Services are interesting concepts for you.

·  You know how to deal with version control systems (GIT, Branching strategies, VSTS).

·  You have worked with infrastructure OnPremise or Cloud (Azur, AWS).

·  You have great communication skills and an excellent spoken command of French and English

·  You are prepared to travel if necessary to Belgium, the Netherlands & Spain.
