It was established in 1969 and manages all significant asset classes for institutional and retail investors in long-term savings products. FIL and its subsidiaries employ over 5,500 people in 24 countries managing and administering US$262.6 billion worldwide.
Fidelity has a reputation as one of the world’s most successful long-term investment managers. In 1946, Edward C Johnson 2nd formed Fidelity Management and Research Company to manage and advise a Boston-based investment fund called the Fidelity Fund. Wishing to expand internationally, Mr Johnson established FIL in 1969 and his investment philosophy is retained in both companies.
Established in Tunisia in 2010 and having grown to a presence of over 150 staff, Fidelity Worldwide Investment have recently moved from Lac 1 to larger office premises in the Lac 2 area.
