Job Summary
Marketing Engineer Position at McKinsey Electronics is a position dedicated for the marketing of National Instruments products in Tunisia. This position will provide research, analytical, & promotional support for the company and develop marketing strategies that will help drive sales up and enhance customer support. The Marketing Engineer will also be responsible for identification & communication of lead and sales opportunities to the Field Sales Engineer and support internal business processes.
Job Responsibilities
‐ Provide internal and external technical expertise and counsel relating to company products and their marketability.
‐ Build target customer company lists.
‐ Provide research and promotional support for Sales Department in developing competitive information, product requirements and marketing strategies.
‐ Interface with sales reps to understand their struggles.
‐ Work with sales department to build menu of offerings for pipeline acceleration
‐ Organize events related to NI products marketing locally.
‐ Prepare and organize customer visits and trips to trainings and other conferences organized by company.
‐ Coordinate with National Instruments for the provision of demos, samples and other promotional materials.
‐ Build and maintain relationships with Local Influencers (analysts, press…)
‐ Provide insight into local business drivers, government and regulatory issues, competitive threats…
‐ Research and analyze data to identify trends, issues and other relevant information.
‐ Provide support or recommendations for campaign strategies and related communications.
‐ Develop competitor analysis containing key activities and statistics.
‐ Perform a variety of other duties such as conducting survey, coordinating forecasts and analyzing market research questionnaires.
Required Qualifications
‐ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and/or Marketing or Business field, and 2+ years of experience
‐ Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
‐ Strong customer focus.
‐ Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are key.
‐ Fluent in speaking & writing French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
‐ Knowledge of National Instruments platform and solutions.
‐ Recent experience working in Marketing, Technical Sales.
