Axe Finance is hiring a head of IT infrastructure:
The Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company’s requirements, expectations and strategy.
- Development of enterprise standards, technology architecture and the IT operations governance process.
- Responsible for the Leadership and direct management of the IT infrastructure team.
- In-charge of ensuring all direct / indirect applications, part of day-to-day Axe Finance’s activities, are running smoothly and are available effectively during and outside of business service hours.
- A proactive and enthusiastic self-starter able to represent the department across the business, with the ability to challenge and give creditability on business related topics from an IT capacity.
- Active management of the IT resource plan & platform capacity, ensuring delivery as agreed with the stakeholders.
- Definition and execution of IT application & infrastructure strategy in line with business objectives definition of the IT development plan & timeline.
- Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network, load balancing and highly availability.
- You will directly report to the CEO with Op reporting to the management team.
Profile requirement:
- Minimum 5 years of experience including previous experience in a similar position.
- Experience in setting IT infrastructure processes and implementation methodology following the market standard and best practices.
- Previous experience as a successful Enterprise Architect and demonstrated track record of leading high-performance teams toward the successful attainment of challenging goals
- This is an English-speaking role: professionally fluent in English, have proven experience on working in an international environment.
