Role purpose:
Lead the visual merchandising, product presentation and knowledge activity to ensure our connection with consumers at the moment of truth is exciting, compelling, efficient and effective.
· Annually and by season, put together a calendar of specific retail brand initiatives for the stores including concept stores, multi-brand concept stores and partner stores across channels. (typical retail initiatives include product communication, vm, pricing, tagging, sales, new arrivals, in store training programs);
· Responsible for the executions of such retail brand initiatives;
· Responsible for budgeting and resourcing of retail brand executions across all channels;
· Develop an appropriate plan to support planned Brand initiatives by looking at the consumer’s shopping experience with a 360 approach (traffic drivers, windows, in-store communication, product, sales associates, visual merchandising, product presentation, etc);
· Work together with Key Accounts to develop a long-term retail brand development plan that fit with the account positioning and that support business growth;
· Ensure that dynamic educational clinics and effective in-store training visits covering products are created and conducted;
· To up skill the company owned stores (where applicable) and partner VM teams through effective coaching to deliver high retail standards, visual excellence and product knowledge;
· Ensure VM and store presentation maximise display opportunities to visually stimulate the customer;
· To influence the visual proposition through monitoring international competitors VM techniques;
· Share plans with Marketing Manager, Sales Manager and Retail Manager;
· Be a leader for each project, involving product presentation, product knowledge and visual merchandise personnel;
· Drive the integration and alignment with sales, retail and marketing team to ensure an impactful execution of the planned initiatives;
· Ensure regular update and detailed reporting on stores (own and partners) appearance to relevant stakeholders;
· Responsible for fixtures and third part order management and budgeting;
· Ensure regular visits and demonstrate strong retail awareness to ensure brand/category objectives are communicated consistently;
· Collaborate with all relevant teams (retail operations, marketing and sales) to ensure alignment with all functions;
