About Our Group :

We are a growing agri-food group composed of three complementary companies:

  • A fully export-oriented production unit,
  • A company specialized in international trade,
  • A company dedicated to local market distribution.

To support the development of our international operations, we are looking for a Senior Buyer with strong operational experience in import/export purchasing and supply coordination.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, and working within an established purchasing team, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Managing international purchase orders from confirmation to final delivery.
  • Following up on import/export documentation: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
  • Daily coordination with international suppliers (follow-ups, logistics coordination, document compliance).
  • Handling professional email communications with suppliers and partners in both French and English.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment based on sales forecasts and customer needs.
  • Launching orders in line with client demand forecasts and production requirements.
  • Keeping updated tracking reports for orders, deliveries, stock movements, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams: logistics, finance, production, and quality control.

Profile Sought

 

  • Higher education in purchasing, international trade, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the agri-food or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and international logistics documentation.
  • Good understanding of inventory control and replenishment planning.
  • Proficient in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Excel, email tools, and ideally an ERP system.
