📣 We’re Hiring: Operations Manager (Infrastructure)

📍 Location: Bucharest, Romania
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:30–18:00
📄 Contract type: Full-time, permanent (we’re open to B2B collaboration as well)
📢 Reports to: Global IT Group Director

🚀 Your Mission

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Operations Manager (Infrastructure) to lead the management and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and operations environment. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing high-impact projects, ensuring 24/7 system support, and driving the strategic development of infrastructure to support business growth and continuity.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily technical operations across core IT infrastructure and middleware applications.

  • Ensure system configuration, software implementation, integration, and end-to-end support (including 24/7 technical coverage).

  • Lead strategy, roadmap planning, and improvements in service levels.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance, report status, and proactively mitigate risks.

  • Ensure team training and certification on the latest technologies.

  • Manage procurement for IT hardware, software, and services.

Financial Oversight

  • Plan, track, and optimize department budgets to meet business objectives.

Client Relationship & Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Mediate challenges in client relations and enhance long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership & HR Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of professionals to their full potential.

  • Actively participate in recruitment, team structure validation, performance reviews, and individual development plans.

  • Foster collaboration, learning, and a high-performance culture.

  • Handle crisis situations and promote proactive problem-solving.

Strategic & Operational Decision-Making

  • Make timely, high-impact decisions even in uncertain environments.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's long-term vision.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and validate reports for strategic planning, KPIs, and operational updates.

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and labor regulations.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Education & Language Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Fluent in French(B2+) and English (B2+).

Experience & Technical Expertise

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in IT management or strategic roles.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure operations, vendor management, and software/hardware procurement.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, project management methodologies, and negotiation best practices.
