Binit Nearshore Services (BinitNS) is a Consulting and Services company operating in the ITO and BPO areas. We advise our European Customers for their IT projects: From Business Process Digitalization to Infrastructure evolutions and Cloud migrations.

One of our clients is a technology start-up providing data acquisition, analytics, and reporting solutions for investors and asset services.

In this context, we are looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, working with our global teams to support the North American timezone.

Note: This role is based in Tunisia but requires alignment with North American business hours. Standard working hours will be [e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern Time - 2 PM – 10 PM Tunis time], with flexibility as needed for business requirements.

The project involves designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, scalable AWS infrastructure to support a cutting-edge platform

Your Missions:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable AWS infrastructure, following established architecture and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain production cloud accounts, including Kubernetes clusters (EKS), Lambda functions, databases, and other cloud services.
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities, ensuring platform security and reliability.
  • Build and improve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, writing clean, reusable modules.
  • Develop infrastructure deployment pipelines to automate setup across multiple production environments.
  • Automate routine infrastructure tasks, monitoring setups, and operational processes.
  • Support development teams in deploying and running containerized microservices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in live environments.
  • Contribute to platform security, performance tuning, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Write clear, maintainable documentation for infrastructure components and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, platform leads, and product teams.

Your Qualifications:

  • An Engineering or a Master’s degree in IT with more than 3 years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda) and the ability to design, deploy, and manage production cloud environments independently.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container orchestration, with experience managing production-grade clusters, scaling workloads, and security.
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
  • Proven ability to build infrastructure automation pipelines, integrate monitoring, and manage deployments with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Wiz, Datadog).
  • The ability to program in Go is a big plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, proactive environment and resolving live issues.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
