Binit Nearshore Services (BinitNS) is a Consulting and Services company operating in the ITO and BPO areas. We advise our European Customers for their IT projects: From Business Process Digitalization to Infrastructure evolutions and Cloud migrations.

One of our clients, a leading data and analytics firm providing insights on global trade, commodities, energy, and maritime activities.

In this context, we are hiring an API Platform Manager who will be part of the API Platform team responsible for enhancing the developer experience by providing self-service tools, templates, documentation, and automation to build secure APIs efficiently. You will contribute to customer retention and business opportunities by managing and optimizing the API gateway while improving developer workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the API developer portal, ensuring excellent user experience for internal and external developers.
• Build and support a self-service API platform, enabling developers to create secure and scalable APIs aligned with best practices.
• Develop reusable frontend components and API-driven interfaces using Vue.js (Composition API) and TypeScript.
• Enhance API documentation and automation to improve discoverability and usability for developers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and deploy API-driven applications.
• Improve API observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot API-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Advocate for API best practices, coaching developers on API design, security, and lifecycle management.

Required Skills:

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying APIs and web applications.
• Strong experience with Vue.js (Composition API) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Passion for software craftsmanship with clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Good understanding of API security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
• Fluent in English

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience building developer-focused platforms, portals, or self-service tools.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies independently.
