Accountable
for the effective supply risk mitigation of raw materials, packaging, goods and services to the business by
providing strong leadership as the single point of contact between the plants
in the region, the suppliers, and the Regional Sourcing teams Be the conduit by which new and changes
to existing materials and suppliers are seamlessly implemented across the
plants
Key reponsabilities
▪Accountable for providing the voice of the business and working with the Regional Sourcing group to tailor category strategies to fit the business .
▪Leads the communication of approved sourcing strategies, key market factors, supplier capabilities, cost trends and forecasts to key stakeholders in the business ensuring support and commitment to the strategy.
▪Accountable to drive the implementation of the approved sourcing strategy within the business working closely with other cross-functional teams.
▪Manages all projects involving changes to the product offering (new product introductions, discontinuations, specification or performance expectations) effectively delivering on all critical timelines.
▪Delivers Supply Management best practice process support to the plant material supply coordinators.
▪Acts as the first point of escalation for supplier related issues.
▪Monitors and provides input to the supplier performance management process.
▪Escalates on-going supplier performance issues to the Regional Sourcing Team as well as other supply risk issues
▪In alignment with Sourcing team, lead sourcing initiatives for local (only) categories
Skills required
▪Professional
–BA degree in supply chain or similar type degree or related experience
–1+ year experience in supply chain type role
–Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
