Apply now for the position of Local Project Manager and be an integral part of our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the global project manager during the series ramp-up of connector and harness products for automotive customers.
- Monitor all aspects of quality and progress crucial for a seamless series start in the plant (4M / 5S).
- Take commercial and technical responsibility for products in the series, including order control and MRP.
- Act as the change manager for series products, conducting technical impact analysis and assessments.
- Serve as the primary contact person for a set of products to be produced in the plant.
Tasks:
- Coordinate and monitor project tasks and related progress during the ramp-up phase.
- Monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your products, emphasizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Generate insightful management reports.
- Plan and implement product or process changes, overseeing change management in series.
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team in a matrix organization, defining priorities across engineering, logistics, and customer service.
- Provide support to customer service, procurement, and maintenance.
- Anticipate obstacles and proactively mitigate risks.
- Resolve conflicts within the team and find optimal trade-offs as the team moderator.
- Coordinate Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) activities, ensuring continuous improvement of costs and quality.
Requirements:
- Study in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or economics (B./M. Sc./Eng.).
- Autonomous working style.
- Beyond thinking skills for solutions and approaches.
- Fluent in English, further language skills beneficial, e.g., German.
If you have any of these, even better:
- Business experience, especially in the automotive industry or connector/harness development.
- General Production Process Knowledge, industrialization expertise.
- Automotive standard experience.
- Knowledge of MS Excel.
- Certificates: IPMA, PMI, Prince2.
- Keen interest in vehicles and connection systems.
