Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team and work with one of the largest banks in The Netherlands in their efforts to combat financial crimes.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in the banking sector to support our client, a leading bank in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and financial crime and terrorist financing. The candidate should also be proficient in AWS or Azure Cloud, possess strong SQL, Python, and PySpark skills, and be familiar with Preventing Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the bank to gather and analyze data from various sources.

·  Design and implement data models, queries, and reports to support compliance and risk management efforts.

·  Utilize SQL, Python, and PySpark to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis.

·  Work with Transaction Monitoring (TM) systems to identify and investigate suspicious activities.

·  Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance KYC, AML, ABC, and financial crime prevention strategies.

·  Participate in the implementation of data-related technologies, including Oracle Exadata, Informatica, Tivoli WS, and ERWIN Data Modeller.

·  Collaborate in the development of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, such as Power BI or similar tools.

Qualifications:

·  2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the banking sector.

·  Strong familiarity with KYC, AML, ABC, or financial crime and terrorist financing.

·  Proficiency in AWS or Azure Cloud.

·  Excellent skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.

·  Experience with Transaction Monitoring (TM) systems is a plus.

·  Knowledge of technologies like Oracle Exadata, Informatica, Tivoli WS, ERWIN Data Modeller, and BI tools (Power BI or similar) is a plus.

·  Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
