Overview of Role:

The Merchandising Coordinator – ROW Vendors is responsible for supporting the Global Vendor Manager – ROW Vendors with the execution of all dropship product assortments to achieve category expansion and revenue growth goals. This role will partner closely with Merchandising, Merch Ops/PDM, Marketing, and Customer Care to setup products and execute against a shared plan. This role will also communicate with our internal Vendor Team and dropship partners on a regular basis to ensure vendor partners are fulfilling orders accurately and on-time.

Responsibilities: 

o Communicate with dropship partners on day-to-day basis

  -    Ensure changes to existing products are received in a timely manner

  -  Obtain product data for new products selected by merchants

  -  Stay on top of order fulfillment activity and regularly share feedback

  -    Request sales reports, quarterly trends, and updates

o  Ensure products are set-up accurately and on time

  -   Partner with Merch Ops and PDM teams to maintain product information in the Product Information Management (PIM) tool, ensuring SKUs reflect accurate information

  -  Ensure all active products are updated and new products are launched on time

  -   Submit requests to remove products that have been discontinued

  -   Perform regular site audits: check for correct name, copy, retail, images, cross-sell’s/up-sell’s, and page assignment

o  Serve as liaison between Merchandising, Vendor Operations, and AP teams

  -  Review dropship vendor Progress Reports for delayed, rejected, and cancelled orders, as well as refunds and replacements, for data mismatches

  - Troubleshoot data mismatches and work with dropship partner, Merch Ops, and PDM to update data as needed

  - Support Accounts Payable with invoice reconciliation

o   Support Merchandising Manager with development of vendor product strategy

  -  Monitor competitors to be aware of pricing, products, and promotions

  -  Stay on top of industry trends via competitive shopping, social media, search interest, blogs, etc.

  -  Maintain product assortment plan

  -  Prepare and circulate sales dashboards on monthly and quarterly basis

  - Participate in post quarter analysis and product rationalization exercises

o  Support master planning calendars, and manage deadlines and deliverables with internal and external partners

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree/equivalent experience required

·  2 - 4 years relevant experience in e-commerce, merchandising, or marketing

·  Passionate about product with enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude

·  Team player, comfortable building effective relationships with business partners

·  Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally to both internal and external partners

·  Attention to detail, ability to follow direction, and patience for tasks repetitive in nature

·  Accountable, and able to quickly build trust and take on escalating levels of responsibility, as warranted

·  Strong organizational and time management skills

·  Flexibility to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment with multiple priorities

·  Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) – must be comfortable in working with spreadsheets with large amounts of data, comparing multiple spreadsheets, etc.

·  Problem solving skills a plus

·  Proficiency in English
