Operations Engineer

We are currently looking for an Operation Engineer. Being in the Operation team means to share understanding between operations and developers and sharing responsibility for the software we build. That means increasing transparency, communication, and collaboration across development, operations, and "the business".

Key Responsibilities :

•  Install new platforms according to the installation procedures

•  Creates scripts, debugs, and documents application programs and systems level automation

•  Implements solutions, enhancements and configurations based on existing platforms

•  Handles live platform software updates

•  Monitors the existing live platforms and proactively reacts to alarms (Centreon knowledge is a plus)

•  Provide support for the Live platforms Level 2 problems

•  Keep infrastructure documentation updated

Technical expertise :

•  System Maintenance and Administration on Linux (RedHat is highly desired): Installation and configuration (RHCE certification is a plus)

•  Scripting: Bash

•  Web servers Configuration (Apache/Nginx)

•  Database Administration: MySQL

•  Networking: TCP/IP protocols and network architectures (CCNA certification is a plus)

•  vmWare/vSphere is required

•  Virtualization solutions (AWS/OVH/Azure) knowledge is a plus

•  Terraform/Ansible scripting knowledge is a big plus

•  Basic telecommunications concepts and protocols knowledge (SIP/RTP): is a plus

•  Mail server (postfix) – administration/configuration - is a plus

•   DNS server – administration – is a plus

Soft Skills:

•  Excellent English level spoken and written

•  High sense of priority, works on multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver the expected results within the agreed timelines

•  Resolves problems that require regular use of creativity

•  Solid capacity of analysis and synthesis
