Our newly opened Office in Tunis is looking for a Senior PHP Developer fluent in English. The Company is fully digital oriented and aims to provide services in Graphics Designing, Web Development & Design, APP Development & Design, Software Development & Design and ERP Consultancy. 

The company mission/vision is to provide In-House IT services to the other companies within the group across KSA, UAE, Egypt and Turkey, and to expand the business to provide these services to the local and international market.

JOB PURPOSE

The SENIOR PHP Developer will be responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript. Manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. He will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. Maintaining the central database and respond to requests from front-end developers.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.

2. Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.

3. Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.

4. Troubleshooting application and codes issus.

5. Integrating data storage solutions.

6. Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.

7. Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.

8. Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.

Required Qualifications

Industry Experience:

Essential:

· Good Knowledge of Digital Learning Industry.

· Have handled 3 or more Large Scaled development projects independently.

Desirable: Good Knowledge of any Learning Management Systems.

Education & Professional Certifications

Essential: Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, CIS, or related field preferred.

· Experience with PHP MVC frameworks  (Symfony, Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)

· Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.

· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

· Hands on Angular, couchDB and/or MongoDB

· Experience with building restful JSON web services

· Knowledge of REST API's, and other API frameworks

· Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.

· Experience with MySql, Postgear SQL/NoSQL databases.
