Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our busy Engineering team. 

Purpose of Role:

• Ensure the supplier quality approach by applying the appropriate methods and tools. 

• Perform and manage improvement projects for products coming from different suppliers. 

• Determine and ensure the application of the company standards to guarantee the conformity of the products received. 

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and qualify or disqualify suppliers according to the organization's standards. 

• Visit supplier facilities and observe the manufacturing environment to review and assess the effectiveness of their systems, processes and procedures to ensure quality requirements are met.

• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) with suppliers, throughout an effective root cause program, such as 8D or Corrective Action - Preventive Action Approach (CAPA). 

• Report, monitor and improve supplier quality performance to ensure product compliance. 

• Govern supplier management and control processes, such as - Performance of suppliers - Supplier corrective actions.

• Oversee product inspection activities of incoming supplies to verify defects and ensure quality.

• Eliminate failures by reducing scrap and improving manufacturability, providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers. 

• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to review and assess the impact of proposed supplier changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bac + 5 with a course in electro-mechanics, mechanics, industrial or similar .

• Minimum 3 years in an area of ​​AQF (supplier quality assurance).

• Participatory approach, Project management .

• Basic HSE notions / basic fire-fighting notions .

• Microsoft (MS) Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Qualipro, Minitab, Cognidox . 

• Perfect command of English - French (Read / write).
