Job Title: Technical Coordinator- Europe & North Africa

 Location: Tunis

 Role Purpose:

Lead and manage technical services, including seminars, training, customer trials, on-site technical support, innovations product introduction etc.

To be responsible for performance materials product and process developments in Performance Thread mainly; to ensure products performing as per customers’ expectations.

Be an interface between sales, manufacturing, quality and innovation teams to support profitable sales growth.

 Key Accountabilities:

·  Lead the engineering projects between manufacturing, quality,  innovation and commercial.

·  Lead the product validation process with the customer.

·  Take an active lead in supporting commercial resolving quality problems

·  Provide product quality, technology and process support to Performance Materials manufacturing

·  Track product complaint trends and determine need for Performance Materials product enhancement

·  Assist in global innovation product roll out. Interact with customers on quality and technology issues.

·  Design and lead Product Technical Training programs for sales force and customers

·  Support on product enhancement, leads for product development, superior products vs competition

·  Working with Quality function ensure that management of Critical to Product Quality Parameters is in line with global best practice.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

(Essential)

·  Educated to degree level, preferably in Textiles

·  Knowing Sewing machines and having sewing skills 

·  A sound knowledge of textiles and terminology

·  Familiarity with the setup and maintenance of sewing machines

·  Understand automotive quality requirements

·  Min. 5 years of manufacturing or technical experience preferably in thread company.

·  Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into viable products.

·  Ability to organise, manage and prioritise workload

·  Proven ability to develop effective collaborative relationships at all levels within the organisation.

·  Excellent communication skills.

·  Fluent in English.

·  Travel through all of Europe 80% of time with particular focus on Turkey, Hungary, and Poland
