New Access is looking for a Production Operations Engineer that will be primarily responsible for providing daily server support during various operations such as continuous integration, deployment and general production delivery
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with developers to make sure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices
- Automating deployment of Unix and Windows applications, system configurations and security settings
- Managing and monitoring for Day-to-day operations service workloads
- Understand the deployment requirements for all products and production environments
Required Skills
- Strong experience in managing Unix based System
- Experience with Continuous Integration
- Solid knowledge in shell scripting
- Good hands-on experience at least in one scripting language
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, enterprising, excellent team player, also able to work autonomously
- Good time-management skills
- Experience in working in an Agile development environment
- Internally motivated, able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Nice to have :
- A certification in Linux
- A first experience with Jenkins is appreciated
- An experience in SVN administration is appreciated
