QUALITY DEPARTMENT MANAGER

1. Position Purpose

To lead the Quality Department in line with the company quality policy and the requirements of the implemented ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems, ensuring achievement of the company’s quality objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities

·  Lead and coordinate the Quality Department and ensure a consistent approach toward agreed quality objectives.
·  Manage quality activities covering incoming quality, quality assurance, laboratory, metrology, process control and final quality control.
·  Manage internal and external quality KPIs and monitor departmental performance.
·  Prepare, analyze and monitor the Quality Department budget.
·  Conduct and support Management Review activities related to the Quality Management System.
·  Work with Group Quality and Lean teams and provide the required information, resources and support.
·  Coordinate quality approvals for new production systems and lead or participate in FMEA sessions.
·  Support new product design reviews and plan activities related to New Product Quality Development.
·  Ensure effective process control and contribute to training and qualification of production personnel.
·  Ensure that relevant quality problems have corrective actions, evaluation and practical implementation; lead investigations into chronic non-conformities.
·  Create and facilitate improvement groups to address complex non-conformities and quality issues.
·  Approve customer/product-specific control plans and corrective actions in process, VQE and VQU activities.
·  Support customers, external auditors and sales teams during visits and customer meetings.
·  Prepare, coordinate and conduct internal and external audits, including audits on production lines.
·  Manage customer complaints and ensure appropriate analysis, communication and follow-up actions.
·  Maintain and control quality and environmental manuals, procedures, qualification records and related documentation.
·  Monitor the performance and objectives of team members through defined indicators.
·  When repeated measurements show negative results, exercise the authority to block non-conforming lots and, where required, the affected production line.
·  Communicate with Group Headquarters and other subsidiaries.
·  Coordinate functionally the company’s Internal Prevention and Protection Service.
·  Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, emergency, environmental and waste-management requirements within the area of responsibility.
·  Coach, motivate and develop the Quality team in cooperation with HR and management.
·  Perform other duties assigned by management in line with the position's responsibilities.
