Description :

A production engineer is a person who is employed to design, develop, modify, and assess manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities:

-Organisation, planning and monitoring of the progress of the different stages of a Production Engineering project

-Arbitration and allocation of means/resources (human, financial, deadlines, materials,) according to the development strategy

-Coordination of activities with other departments: supply chain, production, quality, maintenance, etc.

-Manage the introduction of new tools and equipment

-Identify and contact appropriate suppliers

-If necessary, participate in meetings to resolve internal or external quality problems and carry out the analysis necessary to resolve them.

-Select improvement opportunities and sort them according to defined criteria

-Lead the 5S culture

-Improve current production processes and implement new manufacturing processes

-Update of manufacturing structure and manufacturing routings on IFS

-Review and update current range times, (timing and data update on IFS)

-Study and validate the technical feasibility of Production Engineering projects

-Implement and coordinate the progress of projects with the various stakeholders

-Implement and monitor the progress of improvement actions with production process pilots

-Participate in the implementation of IFS infrastructure improvement projects

-Create and validate work instructions for the production line

Bachelor’s Degree: In Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.

Industry Experience: Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and management.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
