Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Preparing work schedules and assigning workers production line tasks
• Turn on the assembly line equipment prior to the arrival of the operators
• Verify at the beginning of the shift, that the operators perform the warm-up exercises correctly
• Verify that operators are wearing their protective equipment correctly
• Distribute to operators where their skills are optimal for daily production
• Verify that all operators have reviewed the maintenance form
• Find out about the shift production plan
• Follow-up to the first pieces to verify that the process is carried out correctly
• Prepare the batch of the first product article for the quality area
• Prepare the batch of finished parts for the process inspection review by the quality department
• Monitoring during the shift that operators are working safely
• Product quality monitoring during the shift
• Monitoring during the Hour-by-Hour shift, ensuring flow, ensuring there are no bottlenecks
• Fill out the production metrics on the board
• Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner
• Make sure operators keep their workstation clean
• Keep the assembly line supplied in order to maintain the production flow
• Authorize the permits requested by the operators to withdraw from the line, ensuring that the line does not lose fluidity
• Make sure operators stay in place during the shift
• Keep track of the skill and productivity of each operator
• Keep a record of the raw material used, the damaged material and terminals made in each machine
• At the end of the shift, fill in the productivity record of the day in the system
• Turn off the lights and machines
• Repair machines that have been reported during the shift
• Training and supervising new production line worker
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time
• Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations
• Proficiency in computers and office software
