For our subsidiary HUBER+SUHNER Tunisia located in Sousse, we are looking for:
Incoming Quality Inspector
Summary of main purpose of this job:
Ensures that incoming materials conform to purchase specifications.
Collaborates with suppliers to improve their quality performance
Protects production from supplier non-conformities
Main tasks and duties:
1. Makes inspection of incoming goods according defined standards and specifications
2. Documents inspection on appropriate inspection reports using SAP incoming inspection module.
3. Chooses appropriate gauges to complete the inspection tasks.
4. Adds and removes components from the inspection list as appropriate based on established inspection rules.
5. Documents any non-conformances in the appropriate database and assists with investigation and disposition
6. Assures that root cause and corrective measures are used in the analysis
7. Makes decisions as to compliance to quality standards and specifications of all purchased products
8. Drives the establishment of product inspection policies & procedures.
9. Maintains timely and effective communication with appropriate personnel in interfacing department
10. Implements improvements in inspection process, procedures and documentation
11. Implements improvements in inspection process, procedures and documentation
12. Promotes and conducts good housekeeping skills (5S).
13. Performs other duties as assigned
14. Performs monthly reporting supplier quality indicators to Quality Manager.
15. Externally, communicates with Supplier Management, QA Manager & Representatives
16. Follows all company policies, procedures, and practices
17. Ensures safety as a priority at all times
Essential requirements of skills, experience:
1. University level : education in electronics/industrial/ electrical/mechanical/technician or equivalent
2. Professional experience – more than 2 years. Experience in similar position is appreciated
3. Fluent written and spoken English
4. Experience in the standards ISO9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 is appreciated
5. Good knowledge of quality tools (8D, PDCA, QRQC, FMEA, control plan, 5 whys analysis, SPC,…)
6. Very good capacity of quality problems analysis
7. Good organizational skills,
8. Good communication skills.
9. Good team work.
10. Computer knowledge (CATS, PDM, SAP, Ms Office)
