Job Purpose
Reporting to the Group Audit, the candidate will be in charge of delivering the annual audit plan with the aim of providing objective feedback to Senior Management and the Audit Committee of the Board on asset quality and the adequacy of the risk management arrangement and controls. The role involves the management of relationships at all levels within the organization and on occasion with external parties.
Qualification, Experience & Skills Requirements:
Excellent understanding of banking products, services, risk management, operations, technology and other support functions gained from hands on experience and/or performing audits, An understanding of core credit assessment and credit risk management methodologies, an understanding of key treasury products and basic market risk management approaches, a sound understanding of the local regulatory environment, at least 10 years of experience in auditing with a minimum of 5 years in a banking environment, managerial skills including leadership experience, strong verbal and written English, French and Arabic- A degree in finance, banking, accounting, business, audit or risk management and/or a relevant professional qualification such as CIA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or similar.
