Duties :

As the engineering Manager,  you will work directly with the Technical Director and you'll  have to manage a team of 10 prs (Technicians & Engineers).

Main responsibility:

1) Coordinating and directing projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals.
2) Directing, reviewing, and approving of product designs and changes.
3) Recruiting technical employees; assigning and evaluating their work /  oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

4) Preparing budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts.
5) Developing  and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, laboratory or firm.
6) Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.

7) Presenting and explaining proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
8) Consulting or negotiating with clients to prepare project specifications.
9) Plan, direct, and coordinate survey work with other staff activities, certifying survey work.

Skills & Qualifications:

·  An Engineer’s degree and 10 years of related work experience in a similar sector.

·  Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science, technology and mathematics.
· Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.

·  Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming (DAO- CAO: Autocad/ Robot, Arche, RDM6/ Piste, Covadis…etc.).
· Excellent French and English verbal and written communication skills.

·  Leadership  and coordination of people and resources.

·  A high level of motivation and a self-starting attitude.
