The English International School of Tunis (EIST) is an Independent International School offering the Cambridge Curriculum. We are accredited by the Tunisian Minister of Education and Cambridge Assessment International Education.

The School is part of Group Scolaire Rene Descartes, a well established private school group in Tunisia.

EIST is situated in an attractive part of Gammarth in Tunis. The school opened its doors to pupils from Nursery to Y7 in September 2021 and will grow by 1 year group each year until we are at full capacity by 2027.

In Y7 to 9 we use the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum and our students will go on to sit for iGCSE and A-Levels.

To support us as we grow, we are looking for determined and talented teachers for key stage 3. We are looking for teachers who have high expectations for their pupils and who can help prepare them for the challenges in an increasingly global future.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Have a Degree in a relevant subject with QTS and a relevant teaching qualification

• Have taught for a minimum of three years post-qualification teaching experience

• Have enthusiasm for working with a diverse pupil community

• Have a proven track record of achieving pupil progress and closing gaps in attainment

• Are flexible and can adapt to the modern, developing culture of Tunisia

• An experience in Cambridge school would be a plus

• The ability to speak French or Arabic would be a plus
