Infra Support and Security Administrator
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and upgrade internal computer hardware and software.
- Suggest and implement systems enhancement according to standards
- Network and System monitoring
- Software and Hardware troubleshooting
- Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and software upgrades or repairs.
- Research, evaluates and recommend software and hardware products.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues
- Apply patches and upgrades
- Documentation of systems software, controls and monitoring
- Implement and control Backup and restoration
- Other related duties will be assigned as needed
Education Requirements
- Education Background: Bac+3 or more
Required Skills:
- System administration of modern Linux systems / Windows
- VMWare software and virtualization technologies.
- Networking equipment administration (TCP, VPN, HTTPS, SSH, SSL, FTP)
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting (sh/csh, bash, Python, Perl)
- Knowledge of network security and administration
- Knowledge of system and network monitoring (Centreon)
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware
- Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and providers.
