As part of Mazars Group, leading Auditing and Consulting firm delivering services to its clients worldwide, Mazars has been present in Tunisia for more than 20 years and offers a full range of services in all sectors.

We are searching for an IT Regional Director for our office in Tunis ready to undertake the challenge to implement and develop region strategic plan and implementing continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and quality of IT services.

Role overview

Reporting directly to the CEE regional committee and Group CIO, the regional IT director will be primarily responsible to deploy region strategic plan and implementing continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and quality of IT services.

As a member of the Group IT team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise wide IT strategy within region

Main responsibilities

In close partnership with Group CIO, the regional IT director manages governance processes and resources, and will consistently influence, match and prioritize demands on IT services to maximize value to the business.

The CEE regional IT director mission is to raise the IT maturity (Information Security, Infrastructure, Project Management, Service Management…) of the 10 countries of the region based on a convergence/harmonization approach and aligned with the global orientations of Mazars.

In this role, the regional IT Director:

  • Drives development of an IT strategy in alignment with Mazars CEE business objectives and Group IT strategy.
  • Collaborates closely with Group IT and country IT managers to build roadmaps, ensure end to end process and evaluate potential regional technology partners.
  • Leads country IT service department team members and support them in fulfilling targets and strategic plan.Manage IT employee performance through mentoring or coaching.
  • Advises and influences countries’ management and key stakeholders for the deployment of technologies in alignment with the regional business strategy and country strategy.
  • Provides input on ways to improve processes, best practices and policies.
  • Applies security and GDPR compliance requirements, provides documentation as necessary, and participates in compliance activities as required.
  • Manages the delivery of regional IT projects and programs/projects in the Group portfolio
  • Manages financial aspects of country IT departments, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
  • Communicates regularly with country executive management and all users of information services and systems.

Travel Expectations: 25% to 50%

Qualifications and Key Skills

You have proven managerial experience working with technical professionals and business partners with the ability to discuss and present information and issues across a wide variety of individuals and groups (inside and outside of IT)

You have technical infrastructure experience, project management acumen and vendor management skills, in addition to service-oriented approach to operations management.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, Computer Science and/or Engineering Required

Experience

10+ years of IT Management including computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation, supervision of technical personnel, architecture and security/compliance and applications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework
  • Knowledge and experience in building infrastructure, especially with Cloud technologies: Microsoft Azure, Citrix Meraki
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its management
  • Passion for driving change in a complex environment
  • Ability to successfully develop, coach, mentor and manage performance of others
  • Critical Thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Very good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Business and Technical problem solving
  • Effective at communicating and presenting ideas to management, customers and end users
  • Capable of developing a short and long-range plan for your areas of responsibility
