Job Summary

The Applications Engineer dedicated for National Instruments (AE-NI) role in Tunisia is designed for people with strong engineering background who are interested in developing their careers in engineering, technical field or sales and consulting.

Application Engineers focus on increasing Customer Retention by Providing Technical Support and building Competency on NI products. AEs proactively identify business opportunities through all the customer interactions whilst discovering & prioritizing product feedbacks from Customers.

Additionally, AEs are responsible for supporting the marketing & sales activities by being relevant, credible and making customers gain confidence in NI technology.

McKinsey Electronics is looking for open, adaptable, and responsible people to its Tunisia Office for a long-term career who will continuously drive the company’s success.

Job Responsibilities

-  Support NI customers in finding a solution for requests about core products. Utilize testing, debugging and implementations in software and establish successful communication with customers to resolve these requests

-  Deliver customer education for core products with clear explanations of technical content and answering questions. Ensure adaptability of the content and explanations to match the skill level of the customers

-  Work on high-end, demanding projects.

-  Build and manage demos for marketing events and sales needs.

-  Have other ad hoc duties and responsibilities depending on territory requirements or as business needs change.

Required Qualifications

-  Minimum Bachelor or equivalent in engineering or science related field, such as electronic engineering, or mechatronics or similar.

-  Technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of electronics and high-level programming languages.

-  Experience in instrumentation & control, industrial automation is preferred.

-  Must be able to handle multiple tasks.

-  Strong customer focus and problem solving to analyze the problem and think creatively to provide a solution.

-  Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are key.

-  Fluent in speaking & writing French and English.

Preferred Qualifications 

-  Knowledge of National Instruments platform and solutions.
