Competences:

Education : University degree in  Economics / Logistics / Technical
7 years’ experience (at least) of logistics
Reasonable knowledge of English both verbal and written
Numerate with good computer skills
Initiative and self-motivated development

High interpersonal skills

Main duties:
To collate all the information needed to complete the clearance, ensuring all information added is correct and accurate, following the customs requirements, daily contact with the Tunisian customs

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the completeness of activities within the Import-Export department, confirming they comply with the (local and global) legal regulations

  • Identifies performance deviations based on the KPIs and develops action plans for corrections

  • Supports the definition of standards for SC, based on the Benchmarks, making sure that the best service to the customer (internal and external customers) is considered with the lowest cost level (logistic, inventory, physical flow)

  • Provides all needed support to train and coach the Import-Export team on SC standard processes in order to ensure that they are understood and implemented

  • Management of relevant import-export documents (issuing, checking for correctness and completeness, distribution)

  • Coordinates the customs clearance process

  • Develops and implements action plans permanently

  • Allocates time and resources in accordance with the development plan

  • Recommends, develops and implements continuous improvement actions of the supply chain processes, procedures, policies, activities and reports

  • Sets up objectives and priorities to achieve the targets

  • Identifies performance deviations and develops action plans for corrections

  • Management of Import-Export team (resource allocation, evaluation, leadership, monitoring)

  • Coordinates activities within the department and monitors results in order to achieve the defined objectives

  • Encourages employees to come up with new ideas for improving

  • Other duties and responsibilities as defined by the superior.
