Innovation Projects Specialist
Job purpose:
Leads and conducts end to end R&D and Innovation projects under his responsability from project creation and approval to serial launch validation and project closure according to predefined policies, procedures and rules in order to reach target objectives in terms of budget, delay and quality. Contributes to the development of R&D and Innovation policies, procedures and rules.
Your Key Challenges are to:
Creates new project form frame (Following sales request or Management request) and initiates new R&D and Innovation project approval. Develops project plan and creates project on the Information system according to predefined procedure
Leads end to end product design phase such as preparing design initiation form, performing equipements, tools and raw materials availability assessement, preparing and issuing samples production order, supervising samples production, preparing and issuing testing requests and reviewing test results.
Finalizes DFMEA, cable definition products/ process and production synoptic and initiates design phase validation.
Updates accoordingly project status
Leads initial samples production and validation phase activities such as production line, equipement, tools, and raw materials assessment and preparation, initial samples production order preparation and issue, supervision of initial samples production, assessement of process performance and quality results and realization of machine capability on defined caracteristics. Prepares testing requests, reviews test results and updates accordingly industrialization files
Prepares the PPAP/EMPB files and product sample and sends to direct customer. Prepares the technical files according to the OEM requirements and sends the technical files to the customer managers. Follows up direct customers and and OEM approval (PSW).
Leads industrialization phase including readiness assessement of serial production and coordination with all involved parties to prepare serial production launch including tooling requirement preparation, equipements validation, raw material plan update, product & process documents update (PFMEA, Test plan, Process parameters, Instructions, etc.). Initiates approval of serial production readiness and launch serial production.
Monitors post‐launch production results (process capability, performance result, control results,etc.) and provides required support for Problem solving (if needed). Initiates validation of serial production, updates and closes the Industrialization project.
Reviews R&D and Innovation KPI's and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet Company's objectives.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (Chemical, Industrial, instrumentation or related fields) / Engineering degree (Chemical, Industrial, instrumentation or related fields)
Required Experience: 1‐3 years in similar position in industrial environment
TechnicalSkills: Core business wire manufacturing processes (Rod drawing, Multidrawing, Bunching, extrusion, special cables), Supply Chain Management, Commercial & Industrial planning, Customer relationship management, Quality & EHS standards, Continuous improvement techniques, Analytical and problem solving skills, Budgeting & Cost estimating, Project Management, Risk Management, Laboratory Quality management system (ISO/IEC 17025), Quality Management system (ISO TS 16949), Hygiene and safety procedures, Continuous improvement techniques (PFMEA, Synoptic, SPC,MSA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
Language and Software Skills:
MS Office Softwares ( Excel, Words, PPT, MS Project ..) MES and ERP applications.
English is mendatory
