10xware.com is serving businesses in the Gulf region to adopt digital transformation by using SaaS products. We are looking for a principal engineer to build a technology team in Tunisia with a purpose of launching a brand new customer engagement SaaS platform. 

We hire a person who is passionate about designing, developing, deploying and operating communication software solutions at scale,and wants to help deliver real-time, low latency, AI powered communication products. 

Tech Stack

React.JS, Node.js, Javascript ES10+, Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Python, PostgreSQL (or any other relational DB), SQS, Redis

Responsibility

You will be the lead engineer in building a product that includes APIs, chatbots, messaging, integrations, Mobile app and SaaS platform, we promise it is going to be existing. 

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in architecting, designing and writing software of high throughput distributed communication platforms. 

• Strong backend development experience using React, Java or Python with a focus on writing scalable , secure and highly available software applications.

• Expertise in configuration management for deploying, configuring, and managing servers and systems using cloud-based development and deployment, including AWS (EC2, SQS, S3, RDS).

• Strong experience with NoSQL and SQL databases with ability to perform basic database administration, performance optimization, and index optimization.

• Practical experience in queuing systems/message brokers like (beanstalkd, SQS, etc...).

• Proficiency in consuming and designing RESTful APIs.

• The position requires solid knowledge with open source technologies.

• Practical experience with cache technologies (Memcached, Redis).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD and other at-scale infrastructure is awesome, but not strictly required.

• ML experience is a plus as we will be building chatbots

• Serverless and AWS Lambda is a plus 

• Twilio experience is a plus

Location 

Tunisia, from home during COVID-19 times and later from an office

Compensation 

Very competitive package and can range from 25 Thousands Tunisian Dinars until 60 Thousands Tunisian Dinars yearly depending on the candidate profile.
