Shipping and ISO Representative

Thermoplastics Ltd. is a Maltese owned Company based in Malta and has been expanding since 1996. From modest beginnings, the company now provides major manufacturing firms in Malta and overseas with their requirements. Thermoplastics Ltd works with full capacity on a 24 hour basis.

We are in search for a shipping and ISO representative for our headquarters based in Malta. The job requires relocation, therefore, the applicant must be ready and able to move abroad.

The Shipping and ISO Representative will be responsible for the following duties;

-Laise with shipping agencies and customs regarding export / import documentation.

-Prepare, plan and coordinate all the required documentation and goods for Import / Export.

-Monitor the daily deliveries to our customers and make sure that all constraints, priorities, backlogs, etc. are delivered within the time frame

-Prepare delivery and liaise with our customers

-Maintain excellent and strong relationship with all customers and gov. entities related.

-Maintain records of all stocks, invoices, shipping plans, etc.

-Ensure Quality Management System processes are established, implemented and maintained.

-Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.

Assist in the preparation of tenders by providing management systems.

-Train all company staff in the company policies and ensure staff have received appropriate training.

-Control and maintain the audit and risk assessment.

-Conduct safety, quality and environmental compliance

-Prepare and submit monthly management reports

QMS performance and Where improvements are needed.

-Any other tasks required by top management.

Key skills and requirements

-Strong communication skills of English language. Certification such as IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge will be an asset.

-Excellent command of Arabic and French are required.

-Advanced University degree is a requirement, having a Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering degree will be an asset.

-Proven experience in ISO Certification and Logistics is necessary

-Strong knowledge about ISO 9001 and 14001

-Minimum 4-5 years experience working with QMS and Logistics

-All applicants must be able to relocate abroad.

-Excellent communication skills and team player.

-Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
