Fiscal Economics, Tax Administration, Tax Policy, Budget Management, and Legal Compliance Experts

Chemonics seeks technical experts for the anticipated five year, $25 million USAID Fiscal Reform for a Strong Tunisia (FIRST) project. The project is to provide technical assistance and capacity building to key Government of Tunisia institutions, particularly the Ministry of Finance, to strengthen the fiscal foundations for sustainable an inclusive growth.

We are seeking specialists in the following technical areas:

* Fiscal Economics

* Tax Administration

* Tax Policy

* Budget Management

* Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field; master’s degree preferred

* Minimum of five years of progressively more responsible work experience

* Proven managerial and supervisory experience (for some positions)

* Strong writing and interpersonal skills

* Experience with USAID and other donor projects preferred

* Experience working with the Tunisian government preferred (for some positions)

* Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity

* Fluent Arabic or French required. Proficiency in English strongly preferred.
