CRIT is recruiting for a multinational oil company a:

Health Expert

Missions:

As part of a highly motivated team you will be required to coordinate medical support across the operational/project footprint.

You will providing technical medical/health support to operations.  

Plan and develop policies, strategies and projects for promoting health at the

functional areas for inclusion in the overall HSSE Plan.

 Collate inputs from field medical teams and produce weekly reports to support HSSE reporting as well as Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports.

Attend weekly HSSE Meetings to provide short updates on previous week’s medical activities and a look forward to any forthcoming issues/events.

Run workshops such as mental health, accident prevention, occupational health etc.

Identify training needs from strategic and local agendas for the medical team;

Ensure that work is underpinned by sound, up-to-date knowledge of health promotion theory and make sure that health projects are based on evidence of effectiveness

Required Profile

A master degree in public health, medicine, or related field;

At least ten years’ experience working within the health sector;

Demonstrated experience of managing medical operations in multiple locations, to include remote locations;

Fluency in English and French written and spoken is mandatory

Working hours are (10 hours per week) spread across either 1 fixed day or 2 half days agreed between the company and Contractor, with an additional 2 hours to cover

weekly report collation. Flexibility is essential and some evening and weekend work may be required upon receipt of information in relation to a medical

emergency. Quarterly a Field Medical Assurance review shall be carried out by the Health Expert in various field locations lasting 3-4 days, requiring the presence

of the Health Expert in the field.
