## Description

**Mission**

As Syntys launches its operations in Tunisia, we are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations & HSE Expert to support the development of our local operations and ensure the reliability, availability and safe operation of our Data Centers.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, with a functional reporting line to the Group EHS Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing Group standards for health, safety and environmental performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  * Oversee multi-site Data Center operations, ensuring 24/7 service continuity, infrastructure availability and compliance with operational procedures.

  * Manage and support Site Managers, technical teams, service providers and subcontractors.

  * Monitor operational and HSE KPIs, including maintenance performance, incidents, safety inspections and corrective action plans.

  * Supervise preventive, corrective and regulatory maintenance, ensuring proper work order tracking and equipment reliability.

  * Implement Group HSE policies and procedures, including risk assessments, Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and incident investigations.

  * Coordinate emergency preparedness, incident management, root cause analysis and business continuity activities.

  * Prepare and coordinate customer, internal HSE, certification and regulatory audits.

  * Support ISO management systems, continuous improvement, energy efficiency, environmental performance and ESG reporting.

**Candidate Profile**

  * Engineering degree in Electrical, Energy, Electromechanical, HSE or a related field.

  * At least 10 years of experience in critical infrastructure operations, such as Data Centers, telecommunications, energy, industrial facilities or Oil & Gas.

  * Proven experience in operational management and HSE/QHSE, including team and contractor supervision.

  * Data Center or colocation experience is a strong advantage.

  * Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and audit processes.

  * HSE certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.

  * Strong knowledge of risk assessment, high-risk work control, incident investigation and preventive maintenance.

  * Familiarity with BMS, DCIM or SCADA systems is an advantage.

  * Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  * Strong leadership, analytical, communication and reporting skills.

  * Willingness to travel between sites and support critical operations when required.
