Description:
Define objectives in accordance with Group standards, and coordinate and oversee procurement, planning, and shipping to deliver the finished product to the customer under the established conditions and within the agreed timeframes.
Among Your Role :
The PC&L Manager acts as the internal representative for customer requirements regarding capacity analysis, logistics information, supplier scorecards, and customer portals.
Manage day-to-day production control tools, scheduling, procurement, and logistics in accordance with EOS requirements.
Implement a plan to ensure the plant meets its logistics objectives.
Oversee the execution of the weekly capacity analysis.
Develop a production volume adjustment plan in collaboration with plant staff.
Monitor customer delivery schedules against required quantities and deadlines.
Monitor QVC (Quality, Volume, Cost) metrics related to plant logistics indicators.
Ensure effective management of the PC&L team regarding work requirements and skills development.
Implement a cross-training plan for the PC&L team to ensure flexibility in executing daily routines.
Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Coordinate the creation and updating of the contingency plan and its associated risk analysis.
Evaluate and activate the contingency plan as needed, in consultation with senior management.
Your background :
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, including proven experience in a managerial position
Solid experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred
Experience with SAP ERP systems, along with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles, and solid expertise in inventory control, production planning, and supplier management.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
High level of autonomy, with strong decision-making capabilities
Ability to manage stress and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
