Your Mission

As Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure outstanding delivery performance by building and leading a high-performing supply chain organization. You will drive operational excellence across planning, materials management, warehousing, shipping, and customs activities while supporting the company's growth and transformation objectives.

You will be a key member of the management team, collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Global Supply Chain stakeholders to deliver world-class service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership

• Lead, inspire, and develop the Supply Chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
• Drive organizational capability development through coaching, training, and succession planning.

Supply Chain & Logistics Excellence

• Oversee Production Planning, Materials Management, Warehouse Operations, Shipping, and Customs Coordination.
• Ensure material availability while optimizing inventory levels and working capital.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve inbound and outbound logistics flows.
• Manage transportation and customs activities to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Support manufacturing operations through effective capacity planning and workload balancing.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor, analyse, and improve key operational KPIs including:
  • Delivery Performance
  • Inventory Accuracy
  • Component Availability
  • Inventory Turnover
  • Logistics Efficiency
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity, service levels, and cost performance.

Systems & Digitalisation

• Serve as the site's SAP Supply Chain Key User.
• Drive process standardisation and best practices across systems and operations.
• Coordinate supply chain-related IT projects with global teams.
• Support users through training, troubleshooting, and process optimisation.

International Collaboration

• Work closely with HUBER+SUHNER global sites and supply chain teams.
• Support production transfer projects and industrialisation activities.
• Ensure alignment with corporate standards and Global Management System requirements.

Customer Focus

• Proactively manage and resolve logistics-related customer issues.
• Contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience through reliable service and on-time delivery.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a leadership position managing multifunctional teams.
• Strong background in:
  • Production Planning
  • Logistics & Transportation
  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement & Materials Management
  • Customs & International Trade

Technical Skills

• Advanced SAP expertise (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of customs regulations and international logistics processes.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
