Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing production planning activities, material sourcing, and purchasing operations while ensuring full control over manufacturing execution and inventory accuracy within the ERP system. The role includes supervision of production orders, material structures, stock movements, and lot traceability to ensure smooth operational flow, cost efficiency, and delivery reliability.

Core Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution Control

  • Develop and maintain detailed production plans based on demand, capacity, and operational priorities.
  • Convert requirements into actionable production orders and ensure their proper execution on the shop floor.
  • Monitor progress of manufacturing orders and ensure alignment with planned schedules.
  • Identify deviations, delays, or capacity issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.

ERP & Manufacturing Data Management

  • Create, manage, and update manufacturing orders (work orders) within the ERP system.
  • Maintain and control Bill of Materials (BOM) and nomenclature structures to ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure correct routing of operations and consistency of production data.
  • Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure accurate system updates throughout production stages.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Manage inventory movements and ensure accurate stock levels in the system.
  • Monitor raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods availability.
  • Control stock transactions including receipts, issues, and transfers between locations.
  • Ensure reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.

Lot & Traceability Management

  • Ensure full traceability of materials and finished products through lot/batch tracking.
  • Monitor lot allocation during production and ensure proper recording in the system.
  • Support traceability requirements for quality control and operational audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to batch or lot tracking.

Procurement & Supply Coordination

  • Source materials, components, and services required for production continuity.
  • Request and evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, quality, and lead time.
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on supplier deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent material shortages.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain accurate ERP data covering production, procurement, inventory, and traceability.
  • Prepare performance reports and KPIs such as schedule adherence, stock accuracy, supplier reliability, and production efficiency.
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement and ERP optimization initiatives.

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in production planning, procurement, or ERP-based manufacturing operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing workflows.
  • Knowledge of BOM structures, production orders, and inventory control principles.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset.

Languages

  • English: Fluent (written and spoken).
  • French: Fluent (written and spoken).
  • Arabic: Professional working proficiency is an advantage.
