Key Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor production performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, safety, hygiene, absenteeism, turnover, headcount, overtime, production costs, and waste.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, hygiene requirements, safety regulations, company procedures, and work instructions.
- Organize and optimize production activities, resources, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise and support production teams, fostering effective communication, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term production plans in line with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Participate in decisions related to workforce allocation, staff mobility, and subcontracting activities to ensure production continuity.
- Ensure the effective start-up, operation, and shutdown of production processes while maintaining operational excellence.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, waste elimination programs, and continuous improvement projects across production operations.
- Monitor and evaluate production performance against targets and implement action plans to improve results.
- Assess the feasibility of new projects, support industrialization activities, and contribute to the successful launch of new products and processes.
- Prepare resource plans, production budgets, investment proposals, and savings initiatives to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Identify training and development needs and support the continuous growth of production team capabilities.
- Integrate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) objectives into production performance management, including energy consumption reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, safety procedures, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Management, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
- Experience in team supervision and production performance monitoring is an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and/or English.
Digital Literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present performance indicators.
