Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor production performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, safety, hygiene, absenteeism, turnover, headcount, overtime, production costs, and waste.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, hygiene requirements, safety regulations, company procedures, and work instructions.
  • Organize and optimize production activities, resources, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise and support production teams, fostering effective communication, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term production plans in line with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Participate in decisions related to workforce allocation, staff mobility, and subcontracting activities to ensure production continuity.
  • Ensure the effective start-up, operation, and shutdown of production processes while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives, waste elimination programs, and continuous improvement projects across production operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate production performance against targets and implement action plans to improve results.
  • Assess the feasibility of new projects, support industrialization activities, and contribute to the successful launch of new products and processes.
  • Prepare resource plans, production budgets, investment proposals, and savings initiatives to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Identify training and development needs and support the continuous growth of production team capabilities.
  • Integrate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) objectives into production performance management, including energy consumption reduction and sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, safety procedures, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Management, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
  • Experience in team supervision and production performance monitoring is an asset.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve operational objectives.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

  •  Language Skills 
    • Ability to communicate effectively in French and/or English.

    Digital Literacy

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present performance indicators.
