To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Operational Indirect Purchasing Specialist in our plant in Tunisia- Bizerte
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations and Supplier Management:
•Execute purchase orders and manage purchasing transactions for the plants
•Source new suppliers and evaluate existing suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.
•Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value while maintaining consistent supply.
•Oversee the purchase order lifecycle, including order placement, tracking, and follow-up
•Address and resolve any issues related to late or incomplete deliveries or payment complaints
•Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure smooth operations
Cost Optimization:
•Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative suppliers, materials, or processes that reduce cost without compromising
quality.
•Manage cost controls and analyze spending to support budgeting and cost-reduction initiatives. and manage scallions with AP team
Cross-functional Collaboration:
•Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing aligns with operational goals and constraints.
•Serve as the main point of contact for plants / Suppliers and Category
•Participate in plants meeting to align purchasing activities with plants goals and resolve any related issues.
Process Improvement and Reporting:
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance purchasing efficiency and reduce lead times.
•Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
Cross-functional Collaboration:
*manage more than one purchasing category at the same time
Compliance and Documentation:
•Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with Yazaki purchasing policies, health and safety standards.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation for all purchasing transactions, including purchase orders, contracts…
•Support audit and compliance processes by ensuring all documents are available

• Formal education level completed: Master
• English language Advance
• PowerBi / SAP Professional/Coupa
• Outlook Advance
• Excel Professional
• Negotiation skills Advance
• Supplier sourcing Advance
• Microsoft Office Basic
