Point Cloud Processing Specialist

We are looking for a Point Cloud Post-Processing Specialist to support the processing and management of data acquired through 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, or LiDAR technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into accurate and usable digital models for technical, engineering, and architectural projects.

Main Responsibilities

- Processing and registration of point clouds from laser scanning and/or -photogrammetric surveys;

- Cleaning, filtering, and optimization of data ets;

- Alignment and georeferencing of point clouds;

- Creation of 3D models, meshes, and surfaces from acquired data;

- Structured management and storage of datasets;

- Collaboration with design teams (BIM, CAD, GIS).

Requirements

- Degree or technical diploma in Geomatics, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields;

- Previous experience in point cloud processing (junior profiles also considered if well trained);

- Knowledge of dedicated software (e.g., CloudCompare, Leica Cyclone, TerraScan, Faro Scene, Trimble RealWorks, Autodesk ReCap, Metashape, or equivalent);

- Skills in CAD/BIM environments (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar);

- Familiarity with coordinate systems and georeferencing;

- Ability to manage large volumes of data;

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred 

Qualifications

- Experience with LiDAR data from drones or mobile mapping;

- Knowledge of GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS);- Basic scripting skills (Python, MATLAB, or similar);

- Experience with BIM workflows;

- Technical English proficiency.
