Report to: Pricing Data Engineer

Overview of Role:
The Overseas Pricing & Operations Specialist plays a key operational and commercial role within the Global Pricing function, with a strong focus on overseas and custom orders.

This role goes beyond standard pricing execution and takes ownership of the overseas order workflow — from quote stage through order confirmation and delivery support. The position will streamline processes for custom and overseas orders, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong cross-functional coordination.

While reporting directly to the Pricing Data Engineer for operational structure, the role ultimately aligns with and reports into the Global Pricing Manager to ensure consistency with global pricing strategy and margin objectives.

This role requires strong commercial understanding, operational coordination skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-department workflows across regions and time zones.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Overseas & Customer Order Pricing Ownership

  • Lead pricing exercises for overseas and custom orders across all regions.
  • Build detailed cost breakdowns including:

    .   FOB pricing

           .   Freight (air/ocean)

           .   Duties and tariffs

           .   Currency impact

.   Margin validation against global targets

  • Ensure alignment with margin objectives
  • Support pricing strategy for large overseas opportunities and complex deals.

End-to-End Quote-to-Delivery Support

  • Support Sales from quotation stage through order confirmation and delivery follow-up.
  • Act as operational bridge between departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Validate pricing accuracy before quote release.
  • Ensure commercial viability before order confirmation.
  • Support issue resolution impacting margin or pricing accuracy.

Process Optimization and Operational Streamlining

  • Identify bottlenecks in overseas/custom order workflows.
  • Build structured pricing templates for overseas deals.
  • Standardize margin validation process before quote approval.
  • Support creation of clearer SOPs for overseas order handling.
  • Work with Pricing Data Engineer on automation improvements where possible.
  • Reduce turnaround time between quote request and final price delivery.

Pricing Team Support

  • Assist the Pricing team with daily pricing requests and ongoing pricing projects.
  • Perform pricing data uploads to master files, price lists, PIM, and websites across all regions.
  • Collaborate with competitive analysts to analyse market data and support pricing decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

This role will collaborate closely with:

  • Sales Teams – Supporting at quote stage and managing custom pricing requests.
  • China Office – Requesting and validating supplier quotes for custom/overseas items.
  • Global Procurement – Aligning on cost structures and supplier negotiations.
  • Logistics Team – Validating freight costs and delivery timelines.
  • Care Team – Supporting customer communication where pricing or cost clarification is needed.
  • Product Data / Merchandising – Ensuring product information accuracy and correct system setup.

 Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pricing, commercial operations, or supply chain management.
  • Experience managing overseas orders, import/export processes, or working with international suppliers is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to multi-region pricing or international freight management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with ability to calculate margins, costs, and pricing scenarios accurately.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and coordinating with international teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to drive tasks to completion.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of additional languages such as French, German, or Italian is a plus.
