Senior Functional Odoo Consultant

As a Senior Functional Odoo Consultant based in Tunis, you will own the functional dimension of Odoo ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live and beyond. You will act as the bridge between client stakeholders and the technical team — translating real business challenges into effective, well-configured Odoo solutions.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where your analytical mindset, domain knowledge, and communication skills will directly shape the outcomes of complex transformation projects for European clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Requirements

• Lead discovery workshops and interviews with client stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.

• Analyze and map existing business processes across key business and corporate functions

• Perform GAP analysis between client needs and standard Odoo capabilities, and propose pragmatic solutions for each identified gap

• Produce clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for the development team

2. Configuration & Implementation

• Configure and set up Odoo modules in line with validated functional specifications

• Work with developers to define customization scope, review deliverables, and ensure technical outputs match functional intent

• Support data migration activities by mapping source data to Odoo structures and validating migration outputs

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT): design test scenarios, coordinate testing sessions with key users, and track issue resolution

• Coordinate go-live activities and provide hypercare support during the post-launch stabilization period

3. Client Engagement & Change Management

• Build strong working relationships with client project leads and operational teams

• Facilitate workshops, demos, and steering committee updates tailored to both technical and non technical audiences

• Support change management efforts by advising clients on adoption strategies and ERP best practices

• Train end-users and key users; develop user documentation, functional guides, and training materials adapted to each client context

4. Team & Project Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure on-time, on scope delivery

• Contribute to pre-sales efforts when needed, including scoping workshops and proposal preparation

• Share knowledge internally, document lessons learned, and help build Moonside’s Odoo expertise

Exigences de l'emploi

• Master’s degree or Engineering diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Odoo functional consultant role - demonstrated experience covering the full project lifecycle: from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Organized, adaptive and detail oriented

• Collaborative and able to work in cross-functional teams

• Business sense and an interest in understanding business operations

• Comfortable working with data and documentation

• Excellent communicator in French and English (spoken and written), comfortable with developers, consultants, and stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Odoo functional certification (any recent version)

• Experience in Agile or iterative project delivery

• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies
