Bank ABC is further reinforcing their Cyber Security Unit with the hiring of a Cyber Security Analyst.
I - Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:
As a Cyber Security Analyst you will play a crucial role in protecting the Bank’s data and information systems, therefore you will be in charge of the following:
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures to protect information systems and data
- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior and identifying potential threats
- Responding to and investigating security incidents and breaches
- Staying up to date on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches
- Developing strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate responses to security breaches
- Documenting security breaches and assessing the damage they cause
- Executing the organization’s information security strategy
- Conducting regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Preparing comprehensive security reports with recommendations for improvement
- Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity
- Maintaining an understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Responding to security breaches and incidents
- Complying with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations
II - Job Requirements:
1- Education / Certifications:
- Bac +5 in computer science, information security, computer & network engineering or other equivalent studies.
- Professional certification “Certified Ethical Hacker” is a plus.
- ISO 27001 certification is a plus.
2- Experience:
- Min 3 years as a Security Analyst or similar role.
3- Knowledge & Personal attributes:
Information Security fundamentals.
- Display knowledge of Operating Systems.
- Incident analysis & risk assessment skills.
- Security, Physical Security, Security Architecture and Telecommunications.
- Display knowledge of database technologies.
- Conducting penetration tests.
- Fluency in English & French.
Problem-solving skills.
