Reports to: Quality Process Team Leader 

Purpose of the Role

To perform and oversee laboratory testing and analysis to ensure products meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on accurate testing, data interpretation, and supporting quality improvement initiatives through precise and reliable laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all laboratory tests are technically correct, repeatable, and fully traceable

2. Apply validated test methods and respect measurement uncertainty in all analyses

3. Guarantee the integrity, accuracy, and objectivity of test results

4. Perform tests in accordance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and applicable IEC / EN standards (electrical & thermal)

5. Provide timely test results to support production release, process qualification, and customer investigations

6. Manage laboratory samples and ensure proper completion and documentation of all related records

7. Coordinate with laboratories in Italy and Romania for analysis of various samples

8. Prepare and analyze metallographic samples, generating analysis reports including ohmic value, insulation, dielectric strength, etc.

9. Conduct electrical, mechanical, and chemical tests following applicable standards

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Engineering degree or University degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 

• Specialized training in Metallography, Materials Testing, Electrical Testing and Insulation Systems, Metrology, or Laboratory Techniques is a strong advantage

• 4–6 years of experience in industrial quality laboratories, testing, validation, or materials analysis environments

• Hands-on experience in mechanical and chemical testing, interpreting technical specifications and standards, and validating/reporting test results

• Familiarity with IEC / EN standards, internal and customer specifications

• Strong discipline in traceability, documentation, and laboratory record keeping

• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to accuracy and objectivity

• Contract: Full-time permanent contract.
• Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).
