Job Title: HR and Accounting Assistant
Reports to: Accounting and HR Manager
Job Summary:
The HR and Accounting Assistant provides administrative and functional support to both the Human Resources and Accounting departments, ensuring efficient operation, compliance with company policies, and accuracy of financial and personnel records.
This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, organization, and attention to details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining employee records and HR databases.
- Support recruitment activities (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, updating candidates list...).
- Prepare HR related reports (attendance, leaves, etc.).
- Help organize training sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with bookkeeping and data entry.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support monthly closing and reconciliation of accounts.
- Track and report petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid understanding of basic accounting
- Knowledge of basic HR practices, especially related to payroll, benefits, and employee records.
- Proficiency n MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Familiarity with accounting software and HRIS/Payroll systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience (2 years preferred) in an administrative, accounting, or HR support role.
- Personal skills: Team player with a proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and accuracy, time management and prioritization skills.
