Tool Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tools and measurement devices and equipment
• Ensure proper calibration and adjustment of tools for optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tool reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address tooling-related issues
• Support the implementation of the new tooling for new products.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in instrumentation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in tool or equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• At least 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of tools
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics in mechanical and electricity and use precision measurement tools.
• Good English language skills
• Able to create technical work instructions
• Able to make complete report of maintenance intervention
• Planning and prioritizing activities
• Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a safe manner
• Good physical conditions: the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Good vision abilities are required
• Able to follow and define the needs of spare parts
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
