We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Atlassian Consultant to join our "Cloud and Enterprise Platforms" service line at CBTW. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Atlassian solutions for our European clients. You will work at the intersection of business requirements, technical implementation, and strategic platform evolution to deliver scalable, production-ready Atlassian environments.
You will participate in end-to-end Atlassian projects, from platform auditing and strategy definition to configuration, migration, and training delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including enterprise architects, developers, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value. As an expert member of the team, you will also mentor junior consultants and drive best practices in Atlassian implementation and administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Atlassian Platform Strategy and Architecture
· Define and contribute to enterprise-level Atlassian platform evolution strategies for large accounts
· Design scalable and robust Atlassian solutions that align with business requirements
· Architect integrations between Atlassian tools and third-party client systems
· Ensure solutions follow security and compliance requirements
2. Implementation and Configuration
· Transform operational business needs into optimal Atlassian configurations
· Implement and deploy new Atlassian tools and plugins for clients
· Configure workflows, permissions, and custom fields to match client processes
· Establish automated workflows and optimize platform performance
3. Migration and Platform Management
· Execute complex migrations and platform consolidations
· Audit existing Atlassian environments and identify quick wins
· Implement data quality validation and monitoring systems
· Ensure platforms meet production requirements for scalability and reliability
4. Training and Knowledge Transfer
· Deliver internal and external training sessions on Atlassian best practices
· Create documentation and training materials for end users and administrators
· Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of new tools and methodologies
· Mentor client teams on platform administration and optimization
5. Leadership and Collaboration
· Collaborate with cross-functional project teams including consultants, engineers, and business stakeholders
· Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
· Drive innovation and adoption of new Atlassian features, tools, and plugins
· Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise clients on Atlassian strategy
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
· Atlassian Suite: good expertise in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and other Atlassian products, with strong understanding of administration and configuration
· Integrations: Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations with Atlassian platforms
· Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript, Python) for automation and customization
· Database Management: Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for Atlassian backend administration
· Plugin Development: Experience with Atlassian plugin ecosystem and custom development capabilities
· Cloud & Server: Hands-on experience with both Atlassian Cloud and Server/Data Center deployments
Experience
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Atlassian implementation and administration
· Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level Atlassian projects
· Lead end-to-end Atlassian project delivery in large corporate environments
· Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Soft Skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Fluent in Frensh and English
· Able to travel for client engagements and project delivery
· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
· Experience with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
· Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
· Atlassian Certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACA, or similar)
