We are seeking an experienced AWS Managed Service Team Lead to oversee the delivery of our AWS hosting and managed services for multiple clients. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, team leadership, and client engagement. You will lead a team of 2–4 AWS Engineers, act as the primary point of contact for client escalations, and ensure our AWS environments are secure, cost-optimized, and ISO27001 compliant.
Key Responsabilities
· Lead, mentor, and coach a team of AWS Engineers delivering managed services for multiple clients.
· Oversee daily operations, ticket management, and ensure SLAs/KPIs are consistently met.
· Allocate resources and balance workload across client accounts.
· Act as the technical lead and escalation point for AWS-related issues.
· Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and proactive service delivery.
· Translate client requirements into actionable work plans for the engineering team.
· Oversee our AWS Console across all accounts, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant operations.
· Drive ISO27001 compliance within the AWS environments (access control, backup, patching, monitoring, incident response).
· Ensure governance, cost optimization, monitoring, and security best practices are applied.
· Manage IAM roles, policies, and ensure least-privilege principles are enforced.
· Identify opportunities for automation, improved monitoring, and operational efficiency.
· Keep up to date with AWS innovations and propose service enhancements to clients.
· Support audits, security reviews, and compliance reporting.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience leading AWS engineering or managed services teams (2–5 years in leadership roles).
· Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Backup, etc.).
· Hands-on experience with AWS cost optimization, governance, and security best practices.
· Understanding of ISO27001 controls and how they apply to cloud environments.
· Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and monitoring solutions (Datadog, CloudWatch).
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable engaging directly with clients.
· AWS certifications preferred (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Security Specialty).

· Additional Cloud Architecture Skills:
· Proven experience in designing and reviewing AWS cloud architectures for scalability, performance, and high availability.
· Strong understanding of networking in AWS (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, hybrid connectivity).
· Ability to design secure architectures following AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
· Experience with containerization and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes on AWS).
· Knowledge of multi-account and landing zone design (AWS Organizations, Control Tower).
· Hands-on experience in designing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions in AWS.
