Computer Aided Design

The CAD Drafter will have hands-on input on many aspects of our construction and installation facilities. This position works closely with other engineering and construction team members to draft/design installation for civil and water facilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to prepare technical drawings 2D / 3D
• Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available
• Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
• Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards
• Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates

Qualifications:

- Civil Technician / CAD Drafter Technician with minimum 2 years' experience

Specific skills:

• Extensive working knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD / 3D max, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently
• Trained and experience with Geometric Dimensioning rules
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create/Adjust technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications
• Knowledge of engineering practices
